The Community Development and Knowledge Management Project for the Satoyama Initiative (COMDEKS) Project is is a unique global project implemented by UNDP, and delivered through the Small Grants Programme (SGP) as the flagship of the International Partnership for the Satoyama Initiative. The target landscape selected for the project in Turkey is the Datça-Bozburun peninsula located in Muğla province. The goal of the strategy is to protect biodiversity in the landscape, while simultaneously improving the livelihood of local communities
